Below is information about booking a session These sessions are for both family only or with a newborn. All newborn sessions can include parents & siblings at no additional costs to you
When is the best time to book?
We encourage newborns to be photographed under 20 days as most babies usually are settled, easy to pose and wrap and fit in our sourced selection of props. In saying this Rachall & Jess photograph all ages. A newborn sessions are for babies up to 4 months.
Every session is 1-2 hour photoshoot in studio with Jess in our Melbourne studio. To book a deposit of $99 is required to lock in a session with us. If you have had the baby we set a permanent date, if you are pregnant we book a tentative date (on your due date) and ask you contact us once you have the baby to set a time. Booking early is best so we leave space open around your due date.
What happens once you book?
Once a booking and deposit has been made online we will send your automatically a portrait agreement to read and sign online, a questionnaire and session information to help your prepare for your session. If you are pregnant once you have a baby you need to email or message us on our Facebook page to let us know so we can book in a date for you.
What happens during the session?
Prior to your session once you place a booking we send you a questionnaire to fill out online. Based on your answers we set up the props, choice of colours so that once you arrive we are ready to photograph you and your baby. You can see our selection of products such as wall art and albums we offer. Before you leave we take part of the package payment of $400 before you leave.
What happens after the session?
We will load all your images within 24 hours after your session that we have taken in an online viewing gallery to view your images in comfort of your own home. You then have 3 days to view/select the ones you have based on the package you’d like. You then pay you balance, order any prints/products if you wish and allow up to 14 business days for your image selection to be retouched by our professional editing team and reloaded for you to login and download

Platinum Package - $850
You have the choice to chose up to 20 Digital Images to be retouched and sent you via online gallery
8x10 print of your choice from your chosen images
One digitally designed 12x12 inch collage
+ $100 Gift Credit towards any product or next session
Simplicity Package - $750
You have the choice to chose 15 Digital Images to be retouched and sent you via online gallery
+ $50 credit towards any product or next session
Additional add-on Information:
Choice to choose additional images $45 per image
Grandparents/ relatives / added persons is $35 per person
Add on our famous 8x8 baby album for additional $399
